Dull Sky Photo

So recently in class we have had to change the sky in a picture. We used various different tools like: layers, channels, paintbrushes, channels, etc. We also had to add a sun to the picture.

Miami Car

This is the finished product of a picture I edited in Gimp2.

Before: So in Gimp, we had to take the picture above and remove the words while keeping true to the picture.

After: This is my finished result of what I did in Gimp. Honestly doesn't look that bad. Haha.
Anyways, some of the tools to get this result was the Clone Tool and the Smudge Tool. First, I would use the Clone Tool to copy the area surrounding the words and then pasting it onto the words. Sometimes, I would have to use the smudge tool to smudge the area between the original area and the copied area to make the line between them less harsh.

Multicolored Eye

We have been working in Gimp. So we changed the eye color to multicolored.

Example of an Embedded Video

In this post is an example of embedding a multimedia object, in this case, a video. 

1. Locate the video on a video sharing site (like YouTube).
2. Under the video (usually), click the Share button to get the code you need.
3. Highlight and copy the code. 
4. Go back to your post.
5. Switch to HTML view.
6. Paste the code where you want the video to show up.

Embedding means that while the image or video appears on your blog, the actual content remains on the server that hosts it. 

Blogging Wordle

So today in class, we had to make a Wordle. My Wordle is on blogging. If you want to make one of your own, you can go to this website: http://www.wordle.net/. It is really easy and fun to do.  

My Future

So for my future I know what I want to major in but don't know what job I want to do specifically. However, I do know that I either want to play volleyball or basketball for a Division 2 university/college.
